A rainforest lodge in the hills of La Tigra, on the road between San Ramón and La Fortuna, that is quietly reforesting an old farm. Its loop trail passes a river with swimming holes and a lookout over the San Carlos valley, and the late-afternoon frog tour around the lodge's ponds turns up an astonishing number of species. Visitors can also plant a tree.
