There is no ATM, bank or post office in Drake Bay: bring enough cash from Palmar or Sierpe, and ask at the sodas for the day's boat and tour times.

Be careful

Keep an eye on your belongings in busy town centres, and dress respectfully if you go inside a church.

Getting there

Boat from Sierpe (1 to 1.5 hours), small plane to the Drake airstrip, or a 4x4 road from the Inter-American Highway.
