Viewpoint · Monteverde · hidden gem

Tip
Park at the newer, roomier platform a bit further down and walk to the older bench. The sun drops behind a ridge, so arrive 30–40 minutes before sunset.
Be careful
The road down to San Luis (La Trocha) is very steep and rough: drive slowly, especially after dark.
Getting there
Steep gravel road; a 4x4 or high-clearance car with good traction is recommended.
