Tip

Start early, carry plenty of water and wear shoes that can handle rocky stretches; plan your walk back well before dark.

Be careful

Strong currents - reviewers say it is not a swimming beach, so keep to the shallows. There are no services or shade on the way and the tide can narrow rocky sections.

On foot along the coast trail north of Montezuma (the Commons author puts it about 7 km north of town).
