Best in the rainy season; from about mid-March until the rains return the pool can get quite shallow. Tip the parking attendant if one is there.

Be careful

The path down is steep and slippery, so wear closed shoes. Check depth before jumping, and stay out after heavy rain, when the stream can rise fast.
