Puente de la Amistad (Tempisque Friendship Bridge)

Tip
Stop at the viewpoint pull-off; the mudflats and mangroves look best at low tide, and birds feed along the banks.

Traffic is fast and heavy: park only in the pull-off, never on the carriageway. Don't leave valuables visible in the car.
