Río Coto Mangroves (Zancudo)
Nature spot · Osa Peninsula · hidden gem
The mangrove forest where the Río Coto Colorado meets the Golfo Dulce, at the northern tip of the Zancudo peninsula. Boat and kayak trips wind through the channels for wading birds and crocodiles, and the gulf outside is calm enough to spot dolphins on the way.
